- 1% FOR THE PLANET: NAUA is part of the 1% For The Planet organization, annually donating 1% of its sales to environmental causes, in order to minimize the impact of its production. 1% For The Planet certification is given to companies and individuals who fulfill a high-level commitment – donating 1% of annual sales to environmental causes. Associations supported through 1% For The Planet are non-profit organizations that protect land, forests, rivers, oceans and also encourage sustainable methods of energy production.
- INCLUIR+: INCLUIR+ is an association that aims to rescue and value the knowledge, skills and experiences of the senior population of the municipality of Torres Vedras, getting the elderly community active and helping them to move away from loneliness. With the aim of collaborating with INCLUIR+ and thus preventing the isolation of the senior community, NAUA Natural Care uses this association for the total production of its Face Accessories. Our fabrics are then placed in the hands of a group of senior seamstresses, who value manual arts and who create with passion. All of their work is fairly remunerated and keeps seamstresses active and busy even past their retirement age.

It is essential to know your hair, and what it needs, before choosing a shampoo bar.
The most important thing to consider when choosing a shampoo is the hair root: dry, oily or normal. In addition to the root issue, there are other characteristics of your hair that can influence you to choose different types of shampoo bars: colored hair, sensitive scalp, curly hair, among others.

HOW DO I KEEP THE SHAMPOO DRY BETWEEN WASHES?
The shampoo should not be left in a humid place or in direct contact with water. You can, for example, leave it on a shelf in the shower/bath.
It is important to leave the shampoo in a Soap Dish with a hole, thus allowing the water to drain and the shampoo not always being in contact with a small amount of water.
DO NAUA SHAMPOOES HAVE SULPHATES?
NAUA Shampoos have a sulfate called Sodium Coco Sulfate. This sulfate causes abundant foam and has washing power, being totally biodegradable.
Unlike Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, our sulfate does not irritate the scalp and is sourced from coconut, that is not made synthetically.
HOW TO CARRY THE SHAMPOO ON TRAVEL OR TO THE GYM?
HOW TO USE A SHAMPOO BAR WHEN IT IS ALREADY TOO SMALL?
If your solid bar breaks, you can put the different pieces together in a glass sock or in a Sisal bag and use it that way.
Finally, you can also melt the solid shampoo in water, and you will have a liquid shampoo that you can easily use.
DO NAUA SOLID SHAMPOOS FOAM?
Despite being made with natural ingredients, Solid Shampoos also make foam, which is born through SCS (Sodium Coco Sulfate). Unlike SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate), which is used in most conventional personal care products and is associated with capillary and skin irritation, SCS is made from natural ingredients, having no harmful ingredients for our health. and for the environment. So, if you like a shower with a lot of foam, you can be sure that you will love our NAUA Solid Shampoos.
WHAT IS AN UPCYCLED INGREDIENT AND WHICH DO WE USE IN NAUA SOLID SHAMPOOS?
NAUA seeks to directly avoid waste, incorporating by-products resulting from the juice and non-caliber fruit industries into its formulas. These ingredients have rich properties, perfect to use in natural cosmetics. It is the case of:
- Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Fruit Extract: This is an enzymatic extract made from waste orange pulp and uncaliber oranges, which promotes hydration, protection and greater hair suppleness.
- Arachidyl/Behenyl Betainate Esylate & Arachidyl/Behenyl Alcohol: Has superior conditioning, anti-frizz and detangling benefits. It is readily biodegradable and comes from beet waste, a bi-product of the sugar industry, respecting the principles of green chemistry.
Because for us there is no such thing as waste - there is just a world of infinite ingredients waiting to be discovered and reused!
CAN I USE NAUA SOLID SHAMPOOS DURING PREGNANCY?
NAUA Solid Shampoos are not recommended for pregnant women or children under 3 years of age.
About Reusable Make-up Remover Pads and Face Cloths
HOW TO WASH MAKE-UP REMOVER PADS OR FACIAL CLOTHS?
Wash by hand or in the washing machine at 30º. The use of fabric softener is recommended to keep them soft. To remove difficult stains, and keep the pads white, you can use a bleacher, such as sodium percarbonate.
Tip: right after before use, rinse the Pads with water and rub them lightly to remove most of the make-up and prevent it from drying out and becoming more difficult to remove when washing thoroughly.
HOW ARE THE MAKE-UP REMOVER PADS AND FACE CLOTHS PRODUCED?
NAUA Reusable Make-up Remover Pads are made in partnership with Associação INCLUIR+, an entertainment and social solidarity association, which keeps the elderly community active and helps to ward off loneliness. INCLUIR+ works in the municipality of Torres Vedras, which is also our location.
Our fabrics are then placed in the hands of a group of senior seamstresses, who value manual arts and create with passion. All their work is fairly remunerated, and they keep the seamstresses active and busy even beyond their retirement age.
Because, for us, social concerns are one of the most important pillars of sustainability.
About Payment and Shipping Methods
WHAT ARE THE PAYMENT METHODS AVAILABLE?
When ordering in our online store, you can choose the following payment methods:

- Paypal
The processing of your order begins as soon as the payment is confirmed in our system automatically, it is not necessary to send proof.
From the registration date of the order, you will have a period of two days to make the payment. Once this deadline is reached, the order will go into the Canceled state.
WHAT IS THE TIME OF DELIVERY FOR THE ORDERS?
Once your order is delivered to the courier, you will receive an email with the shipping confirmation and information to track the status of the delivery.
The period between the payment of the order and the date of delivery first delivery attempt varies between 24 and 72 hours on working days (Monday to Friday), depending on the destination and the time the order was placed. When registering your order, you should pay special attention to the Delivery Address, and check that it is correct and complete. NAUA will not be responsible for delay in delivery due to an incorrect address and additional delivery costs will be borne by the customer.
Delivery will take place within 2 to 5 working days. Orders paid on business days before 3pm will be processed that same day. If payment is made after 3pm, it will be processed on the next business day.
Warning: All the above information applies to shipments to mainland Portugal and Spain. For islands and the rest of Europe, shipment will be made via CTT, with a delivery time of 5 to 10 working days. There may be delays not related to NAUA, due to the current status of deliveries.
WHAT IS THE SHIPPING METHOD?
Once the order has been shipped, you will receive an email with the tracking number so you can track the status of the shipment.
The order will be shipped via courier to the address to indicate as Delivery Address. When you receive your order, you should check that everything is in perfect condition. If you do not agree with the items received or their condition, you should contact us and report the situation in detail.
All the above information applies to shipments to Portugal and Spain continental. For islands and the rest of Europe, shipment will be made via CTT, with a delivery time of 5 to 10 working days.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I'M NOT AT HOME?
If you are not at the address at the time of delivery, our courier will contact you to agree on a new date. You can also leave a notification in the Mailbox, to proceed with the collection of the order directly at the nearest MRW agency.

About Exchanges and Returns
CAN I EXCHANGE OR RETURN AN ITEM I ORDERED IN THE NAUA NATURAL CARE ONLINE STORE?
Yes, it is possible. In order for us to accept the exchange/return, the product needs to be in perfect condition: unused and with the original box undamaged. If interested in making an exchange/return, the customer should contact hello@naua.care. The return cost is borne by the customer.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO EXCHANGE OR RETURN AN ITEM?
At NAUA Natural Care, the customer has 14 days to exchange or return a product.
I RECEIVED THE WRONG ITEM. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
In the event that the customer receives an order with the wrong product(s), the customer has 14 days from the date of receipt of the order to report the incident. The customer should contact hello@naua.care.
THE ITEM I RECEIVED IS DEFECTIVE. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
In the event of a notorious anomaly in the product received, the customer must contact NAUA within 14 days (from the date of receipt of the order), which will assess the situation and collect the item without any cost, in question if necessary. If the product is defective, it can be exchanged for a new item of the same reference or refunded. If the customer chooses the refund option, it will be carried out within a maximum period of 14 days. If the customer opts for an exchange and the article of the same reference is not in stock, the customer may choose another article of equal value or refund the value of the defective article.
If the anomaly is not verified, the item is returned to the customer against payment for shipping (amount to be verified depending on the destination address, to be made via bank transfer to an account to be specified).
I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE COMPLETE ORDER. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
In case the customer receives an order with missing product(s), the customer has 14 days from the date of receipt of the order to report what happened. Except for prior notice, all products are shipped in the same package.
